American Family Housing is building an intentionally designed neighborhood in Orange County, called Potter's Lane. Estimated for completion in 2016, the energy-efficient and sustainable housing site will fulfill one on the community's greatest needs: permanent housing for chronically homeless veterans.

Potter's Lane is an eco-friendly housing project that utilizes GrowthPoint Structures built using a modified-steel construction method. This innovative approach will reduce development inefficiencies, increase sustainability and energy efficiency, create opportunities to leverage scarce resources, and provide a solution to increased access to permanent supportive housing without the long development cycles associated with conventional site-built construction and financing.

The sixteen units at Potters Lane will offer both indoor and outdoor space, with beautiful gardens to provide a sustainable environment that soothes the soul. Through tranquil common areas, residents will be encouraged to interact with each other, building community and a sense of belonging and connectedness to others.

We are seeking individuals and organizations willing to make a lasting impact by funding the construction of Potter's Lane. American Family Housing is embarking on a $1M campaign to fully realize the vision, and your gift will leverage over $4M in financing commitments from public sources. Consider an investment in Potter's Lane and become part of the revolution to end chronic homelessness. Your support will leave an indelible imprint on generations to come.
